General Matter is hiring a Data Platform Software Engineer to design and operate high-throughput data pipelines, time-series storage, and streaming services for sensor telemetry across test and production systems. The role owns data architecture, schema design, reliability, debugging, and integration with controls, test automation, and visualization teams. It requires a bachelor’s degree, at least five years of relevant experience, strong Python and SQL skills, and on-premise safety-critical deployment experience. The position is 100% onsite, requires a US citizen with Q clearance capability, and offers a base salary of $125,000–$220,000 annually plus potential stock options and medical, vision, and dental coverage.
