TheGuarantors is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and operate mission-critical backend services and React frontends within a microservices architecture. The role owns features end-to-end, modernizes the platform from a monolithic architecture, and leads technical design and mentoring. Candidates need 5+ years of software engineering experience, strong backend expertise in Node.js, NestJS, TypeScript, Go, APIs, and PostgreSQL, and experience with distributed systems. The position is hybrid in New York City and offers a base salary of $170,000–$205,000 annually.
