Amazon Devices is hiring a Software Engineer to design and develop software for deep-learning accelerators, including compiler passes, graph ingestion, optimization, partitioning, and backend code generation across heterogeneous platforms. The role partners with hardware, applied science, firmware, and product teams, owns compiler components end to end, and may mentor junior engineers. Candidates need at least two years of non-internship design or architecture experience, three years of professional software development experience, modern programming experience, and production experience deploying large language models on AI acceleration hardware. The position is based in Sunnyvale, California, with a base salary of 165,200 to 223,600 USD annually.
