Google is hiring a Software Engineer, DevAI Automation to build AI-powered automations for the GPay development team. The role focuses on improving client development through AI-enhanced code context, workflows, and architecture; developing agent skills and prompts; designing client-facing features; experimenting with end-to-end automatic quality assurance and bug fixing; and improving design processes for production view code. The position requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, software development experience, full-stack development experience, AI and agentic development experience, and experience with modern programming and web technologies.
