HARMAN is hiring a Software Engineer - DevOps SRE in Bangalore, Karnataka, India, for a regular permanent role. The position focuses on configuring, customizing, and building Linux distributions for embedded systems using the Yocto Project, developing Yocto layers and recipes, integrating third-party libraries and drivers, troubleshooting build failures, and optimizing build processes. The role also involves GitLab CI, scripting, C programming, Linux, version control, build automation, and collaboration with DevOps teams. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field and strong problem-solving skills are required; experience with Android, Bazel, and automotive infotainment architecture is a bonus.
