Workday is hiring a Mid/Senior Platform Engineer for its Government Platform Engineering team to design, build, scale, and maintain a Kubernetes-based platform. The role covers infrastructure automation, CI/CD, observability, platform reliability, security, compliance, troubleshooting, and cross-team collaboration. It requires at least five years of infrastructure experience, strong Kubernetes knowledge, a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance; an active TS/SCI with CI Poly is preferred. The primary location is Reston, Virginia, with additional U.S. locations, and the role supports federal government contracts.
