Zoox is hiring an Embedded Linux Software Engineer to develop and maintain the common operating-system platform powering robotaxi devices and onboard AI systems. The role involves configuring embedded Linux build systems and bootloaders, developing device drivers and kernel-space components in C, C++, or Rust, and collaborating with cross-functional teams on hardware bring-up, manufacturing, and production deployment. Candidates need at least four years of embedded software experience, strong Linux and embedded-systems knowledge, and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
