Google is hiring a Software Engineer, Embedded Systems, in Poland to develop and integrate low-level initialization sequences and software for Universal Flash Storage, tune Linux kernel and bootloader code for SoC interactions, and investigate firmware, power-state, and latency issues. The role requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, two years of software development experience, and two years of embedded operating-system experience; preferred qualifications include advanced degrees, low-level software development, storage-subsystem experience, and hardware-software debugging. Compensation is PLN 280,000–287,000 plus a 15% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
