Description

General Matter is hiring a Software Engineer, Enterprise Systems to build and operate integrations across manufacturing and business systems, starting with the PLM/PDM-to-MES pipeline. The role involves C#/.NET development, REST API integrations, data mapping, monitoring, data migration, security, and CI/CD. It is a hands-on, 100% on-site position requiring a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Q clearance, and offers a base salary of $140,000–$190,000 annually plus potential stock options and medical, vision, and dental coverage.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
Required Previous Experiences: Experience with systems integration, software development, or enterprise or manufacturing systems engineering
Hands-on experience building and supporting production integrations using REST APIs, SDKs, and custom services
Strong software development experience in C#/.NET or a comparable language with the ability to work in C#/.NET
Experience with source control and CI/CD, including Git and modern pipelines
Preferred Qualifications: Hands-on customization of enterprise ERP platforms using native development tools
Experience with SAP or Oracle ERP platforms
Extending CRM platforms through native programming and component-based UI frameworks
Integrating CAD, PDM, or PLM tools through scripting interfaces and COM or .NET APIs
Integrating or administering MES, QMS, or WMS platforms, including cloud MES REST APIs
Experience with iPaaS and middleware, including event-driven patterns, webhooks, and message queues
Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and Python alongside C#/.NET
Familiarity with engineering data formats, STEP files, drawings, bill-of-materials structures, and label-printing or barcode systems
Experience with cloud data warehouses and migrating data across enterprise systems
Experience in regulated industries and familiarity with governance and compliance frameworks
Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud services
