Nesco Resource is hiring an entry-level Software Engineer in Painted Post, New York, to design, develop, test, debug, and maintain software systems for manufacturing, automation, measurement, inspection, data collection, machine vision, image processing, machine learning, and reporting applications. The role involves interfacing with sensors, cameras, lighting, motion-control devices, and other hardware; implementing data-processing logic; troubleshooting software; and collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams. The position is 100% onsite, with possible domestic travel of up to 25%, and requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field, 0–3 years of software development experience, and proficiency with technologies such as C#, Python, C++, Java, MATLAB, web services, microservices, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Angular, Vue.js, and Git.
