Description
Microsoft is hiring a Software Engineer for its Experimentation Platform within CoreAI. The role designs, implements, and maintains reliable distributed services; uses AI-assisted development responsibly; collaborates with engineering, product, privacy, security, and SRE teams; and participates in on-call rotations and operational improvements. The position requires a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field and at least two years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, plus Microsoft Cloud background-check eligibility. Preferred qualifications include cloud and distributed-systems experience, observability expertise, experimentation and A/B testing experience, and familiarity with AI-assisted development. The role offers a typical U.S. base pay range of USD 102,100–202,200 per year, with higher ranges for the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area.
