Description
Specter is hiring a Software Engineer to architect and operate fleet management, deployment, and recovery systems for long-range wireless video sensors. The role covers a unified control plane, over-the-air firmware and image updates, staged rollouts, rollback mechanisms, self-testing and self-healing edge software, and resilient recovery. The engineer will work across Rust, C, NixOS, Python, and TypeScript, with a focus on distributed systems, hardware-level failure modes, state convergence, and reliable operational control.
