ExtraHop is hiring a Software Engineer on its Framework team to design, develop, maintain, and optimize high-performance network detection and monitoring systems. The role focuses on C/C++ services running on Linux, protocol support, packet processing, metrics publishing, continuous packet capture, time-series database components, performance-critical systems, reliability, observability, and cloud-enabled modernization. The engineer will collaborate cross-functionally, participate in agile development and on-call rotations, and independently investigate production and performance issues. The position requires a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, STEM, or a related field and at least four years of professional software development experience.
