Plaid is hiring a Fullstack Software Engineer to design and build scalable backend services and APIs while also developing modern frontend experiences. The role is primarily backend-focused, with responsibilities including API and service development, frontend work, collaboration with product and design teams, code quality, automated testing, debugging, and ownership of products used by millions of users. Candidates should have 2–4 years of full-stack development experience, knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, modern frameworks, a programming language such as Python, Java, Go, or Node.js, relational databases, microservices, and API design.
