Description
ConsultNet is seeking a Software Engineer, GenAI for a contract role in the DC Metro Area with an ASAP start. The position combines hands-on software engineering with Generative AI enablement, including identifying AI-driven improvements across the software development lifecycle, prototyping and implementing AI-enabled development solutions, evaluating AI tools, troubleshooting integrations, and serving as a technical advisor. The role also develops training materials, workshops, demonstrations, documentation, and technical content while helping engineering teams adopt AI-enhanced development practices. Candidates need at least five years of software development experience, strong software engineering and DevOps knowledge, hands-on programming experience, and experience with Generative AI and AI-assisted development tools.
