Description
Neo4j is hiring a Software Engineer for its Sharding Engineering team to build and evolve the Aura control plane for sharded and composite databases. The role focuses on Go services and Kubernetes machinery that provision, scale, and operate distributed database clusters, including APIs, operators, and lifecycle management. Responsibilities also include debugging, testing, documentation, cross-team collaboration, and experimenting with database research. The position requires production software experience, strong Go and Kubernetes expertise, modern continuous-integration and Docker experience, and independent collaboration; Java, JVM, Kubernetes operators, distributed systems, cloud platforms, observability, and managed cloud-service experience are preferred.
