Google Cloud is hiring a Software Engineer to develop product and system code, participate in technology design reviews, review and improve other developers’ code, contribute documentation, and triage and resolve product or system issues. The role requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, two years of experience with large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems, networks, compute technologies, storage, or hardware architecture, and two years of C++ programming experience. Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree or PhD in computer science or a related field, accessible technology development, API development, performance optimization, and system architecture experience. Compensation is $147,000–$210,000 USD plus a 15% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
