Description
Google Cloud is hiring a Software Engineer to develop systems and tools in Go and Python for GKE and related infrastructure, experiment with agentic solutions for test and release excellence, advocate critical features and releases, and manage upgrade lifecycles and complex troubleshooting. The role requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, at least two years of software development experience, experience with large-scale infrastructure or distributed systems, and one year of Kubernetes experience. Preferred qualifications include a master’s or PhD in computer science or a related field, three years of distributed systems or cloud infrastructure experience, open-source contributions, and strong communication and people-management skills. Compensation is $147,000–$210,000 USD plus a 15% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
