Description
Google is hiring a Software Engineer for its Search team to lead high-impact projects, coach distributed engineering teams, align cross-team goals, and design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance large-scale software solutions. The role requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, 8 years of C++ programming experience, 5 years of software product testing and launch experience, 5 years of large-scale infrastructure or distributed-systems experience, and 3 years of software design and architecture experience. Preferred qualifications include an engineering or computer science degree, data structures and algorithms experience, technical leadership experience, and experience in complex matrixed organizations. The position requires in-person interviews.
