Zenysis is seeking a mid-level Software Engineer – Health Information Systems & Technical Lead for a secondment to Rwanda’s Ministry of Health and the National Health Information Center (NHIC). The role combines hands-on engineering with day-to-day technical leadership of junior software engineers, focusing on national health information system integration, interoperability, APIs, data exchange, ETL pipelines, infrastructure reliability, and operational support. The engineer will work with Ministry stakeholders, technical partners, and Zenysis teams while maintaining a functional reporting line to Zenysis. The position requires a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field and 3–6 years of software development or related technical experience, with strong Python, SQL, ETL, API, Linux, cloud, and database skills.
