Meta is seeking a Software Engineer to join its network infrastructure team and build scalable distributed systems for datacenter network devices, transport stacks, and AI workloads. The role involves developing drivers, firmware, software, services, and infrastructure for network switches and forwarding functions; debugging system-level issues; tuning performance; automating CI/CD test suites; integrating cross-functional components; and participating in oncall rotations. Candidates need a relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, 7+ years of industry software development experience or a PhD with 4+ years, at least 3 years of network-device experience, and proficiency in C/C++ and a scripting language.
