Description
Travelers is hiring one Software Engineer I to contribute to the BSI Cyber Scan platform, an intermediate-complexity system involving Elixir, Python, JavaScript/React, PostgreSQL, and AWS Lambda and Step Functions. The role performs analysis, design, development, configuration, testing, debugging, documentation, monitoring, and incident resolution, while working independently on well-scoped problems and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related STEM field, two additional years of software engineering experience, and authorization to work in the United States; Elixir or another functional/actor-model language experience is preferred, and H-1B, TN, and STEM OPT sponsorship is not available.
