Description
The role designs, codes, implements, tests, and documents simulation software for simulator training devices and related applications. Responsibilities include reviewing software-hardware interfaces, defining requirements, managing technical risks, developing software in C, Fortran, or other high-level languages, testing subsystems and integrations, troubleshooting, coordinating with program, software, hardware, and manufacturing teams, and supporting installation, acceptance, and delivery worldwide. The position requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or science field or equivalent experience, U.S. citizenship, a DoD security clearance, approximately 25% travel, and a standard 40-hour workweek with occasional overtime, holidays, weekends, and shifts.
