Lyft is hiring a Software Engineer for its Identity & Integrity organization to build and improve authentication, account security, OAuth, session management, RBAC, and related identity services. The role involves designing MFA and verification experiences, protecting user accounts from fraud and social engineering, maintaining core microservices, and collaborating with product, data science, analytics, and operations teams. Candidates need at least three years of engineering experience with Python, Go, Java, or similar stacks, cloud experience, design-documentation skills, and relevant mentoring experience. The position is hybrid in Toronto, requiring at least three days per week in the office, and offers a base salary of CAD 108,000–135,000 plus potential equity, bonus, and benefits.
