RapidSOS is hiring a Voice AI Engineer to own Voice AI agent capabilities end to end, from problem discovery and experimentation through architecture, implementation, testing, deployment, evaluation, and production reliability. The role covers real-time voice, streaming media, conversational agents, Python backends, AI model behavior, React/TypeScript interfaces, APIs, cloud infrastructure, automated evaluations, and safety-critical production decisions. Candidates should have 2–3+ years of back-end or full-stack engineering experience, strong Python and async programming skills, and experience with AI/LLM applications; real-time voice or streaming experience is a plus. The role includes a weekly on-call rotation and occasional travel to Europe, with remote work indicated.
