Akamai is hiring a Software Engineer II for its Edge Platform division. The role develops performant, scalable backend software for Akamai Image and Video Manager and EdgeKV, including strategic features, customer enhancements, defect fixes, architecture and design documentation, code reviews, testing, deployment planning, and automation. The position requires two years of experience, a bachelor's degree in a relevant computing field, backend development knowledge, Linux/Unix scripting, and familiarity with technologies such as Java, Angular, Spring, NoSQL databases, real-time service delivery, and containerization.
