Marqeta is seeking experienced Software Engineers II to join their team. This role involves delivering resilient and sustainable software projects, executing on defined projects, owning minor features, defining solutions, delivering high-quality code, and contributing to test development. The ideal candidate will have over three years of backend engineering experience, strong programming skills in Java (with Spring Boot preference), and familiarity with other languages like Python, Go, or Ruby. They should also possess knowledge of relational databases, service-oriented architectures, cloud computing (preferably AWS), and experience with IaC, CI/CD pipelines, and observability tools.
