Microsoft is hiring a Software Engineer II to own end-to-end features and scalable backend services for AI-powered compliance, security, and productivity solutions. The role involves designing, implementing, testing, deploying, monitoring, and supporting production services; building distributed systems with C#/.NET and Azure; applying AI/ML technologies and evaluation frameworks; and contributing to operational excellence through on-call rotations, incident investigation, root-cause analysis, and telemetry. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical discipline with proven coding experience, or equivalent experience, and must pass Microsoft and Microsoft Cloud background checks.
