Description
Microsoft is hiring a Software Engineer to design and develop large-scale distributed networking security software and services for Microsoft Entra Security Service Edge. The role involves building secure, reliable, modular, and monitorable systems; applying AI to security and engineering productivity; conducting design reviews and code reviews; improving test coverage and integration testing; and troubleshooting automation, reliability, and monitoring. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field, at least two years of technical engineering experience with C, C++, Golang, or Rust, familiarity with core networking protocols, and experience with Unix/Linux-based operating systems and open-source contributions. The typical U.S. base pay range is USD 102,100–202,200 per year, with higher ranges for the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area.
