Microsoft is hiring a Software Engineer II for its Turing team to design, build, and scale backend platform capabilities and core Microsoft 365 Copilot features. The role involves collaborating with applied scientists and engineers, delivering scalable high-performance features, defining architecture and implementation plans, and improving robustness and test coverage. It is based at the Redmond campus with three days per week in the office and two days per week from home, and offers domestic relocation assistance. The position requires a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field and at least two years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python; equivalent experience may also qualify. The typical U.S. base pay range is USD 102,100 to USD 202,200 per year, with higher ranges for the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area.
