Description
Microsoft is hiring a Software Engineer II for its Sovereign Cloud Security team to design, implement, test, and maintain cloud-scale services and platform components for security-critical and highly regulated environments. The role involves building secure, reliable software; collaborating with security, operations, program management, and compliance teams; resolving live-site issues; participating in 24x7 on-call rotations; and applying secure-by-design practices. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field and at least two years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, plus the ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and government security screening requirements, including a U.S. Government Top Secret clearance with SCI access.
