Microsoft Core AI is hiring a Software Engineer to help build and operate cloud-native, distributed platforms and runtime systems for agentic AI applications. The role involves creating product code, contributing to architecture and design, developing reusable platform components, engaging with customers and product teams, and leading reliability and root-cause analysis for large-scale distributed systems. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field, at least three years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, and three years of experience designing, building, and operating production-grade software and services at scale.
