SimpliSafe is hiring a Software Engineer II for its User Systems team to design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain cloud-based backend systems supporting native mobile applications. The role involves optimizing systems for performance, reliability, and scalability; participating in code reviews and testing; documenting systems; and serving on an on-call rotation. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field and/or 1–2 years of relevant experience, familiarity with a major programming language and Agile and DevOps practices, and a collaborative, growth-oriented mindset. The position offers a hybrid work model and a target annual base pay range of $93,800 to $125,100, along with medical, retirement, and other benefits.
