DigitalOcean is hiring a Software Engineer II for its Audit Logging & Security Visibility team in Bengaluru, India. The role focuses on building and maintaining audit logging and telemetry pipelines in Go, supporting integrations with Splunk, Datadog, Chronicle, and Microsoft Sentinel, and improving the accuracy, retention, and accessibility of audit records. The engineer will collaborate with IAM, Threat Detection, and Platform teams, identify logging coverage gaps, and develop expertise in distributed systems and security engineering. The position requires 3–5 years of software engineering experience, Go proficiency, and familiarity with distributed systems; streaming, Kubernetes, SQL, and Terraform exposure are advantageous. The role is hybrid.
