Affirm is hiring a Software Engineer for its Furnishing Platform team to build scalable systems and data pipelines that deliver accurate consumer credit reporting data to Consumer Reporting Agencies. The role involves backend development, distributed-systems work, collaboration with product and compliance teams, monitoring and on-call support, and code review. Candidates need at least 1.5 years of software engineering experience, backend development experience, proficiency in Python or Kotlin, and familiarity with AWS, MySQL, and Spark. The position is remote in Spain, with visa sponsorship available, and offers a base pay range of €73,000–€109,000 per year plus health, dental, vision, equity, and other benefits.
