Description
Wati is hiring a Data Backend Engineer for its China team to build and maintain scalable data pipelines and backend services, design structured and unstructured data storage solutions, ensure data quality and performance, and integrate third-party APIs for reporting and analytics. The role requires a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field, 2–4 years of backend or data engineering experience, proficiency in Python, Java, or Go, and experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, ETL, data warehousing, streaming frameworks, cloud infrastructure, ML/AI integration, data governance, and business intelligence tools.
