Hewlett Packard Enterprise is hiring an onsite Software Engineer II focused on data-center packet forwarding. The role involves translating customer requirements into software design, developing complex IPv4/IPv6/MPLS, SRv6, EVPN-VxLAN, multicast, firewall, and service features, debugging microkernel/Linux issues, improving unit-test automation, supporting customer issues, and sustaining existing features. Candidates need a B.E. or B.Tech in CS/EE, at least two years of experience, strong C/C++/Python and networking skills, and preferably router/switch or datapath ASIC development experience.
