Diligent is hiring a Software Engineer II to build scalable backend services, REST APIs, integrations, and AI-enabled features using Python and cloud technologies. The role covers data ingestion, service-to-service communication, deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, testing, security, and collaboration across the development lifecycle. Candidates need 3–5 years of production software experience, strong Python and backend development skills, cloud and CI/CD familiarity, SQL and Git experience, and practical knowledge of AI or LLM concepts. The position follows a hybrid model requiring onsite work at least 50% of the time at a Diligent office location.
