Description
Abnormal is hiring a Software Engineer II, Backend — DIP Ingestion to build and operate secure, scalable backend services and ingestion pipelines that collect data from third-party APIs and deliver it reliably to downstream systems. The role owns complex features from requirements through implementation, testing, launch, and production support, while contributing to connector patterns, snapshot and event ingestion, data reliability, error handling, and on-call troubleshooting. Candidates need at least three years of software engineering experience, including production backend development in Python, along with strong backend, API, data-modeling, testing, debugging, and performance fundamentals; cloud and deployment experience, ideally AWS, is also sought.
