Description
Textron Systems is seeking a Software/Embedded Systems Engineer for its UAS development team. The role develops C software for embedded Linux-based unmanned aircraft systems, integrates ROS/ROS2 nodes, performs hardware and software integration, troubleshoots system-level issues, and contributes to software architecture and field testing. Candidates need a relevant bachelor's degree, approximately 2–5 years of software/hardware integration experience depending on level, strong C and embedded Linux skills, UAS and autopilot experience, and the ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance. The position offers Level II and Level III salary ranges of $92,600–$139,600 and $115,800–$176,200, respectively, along with medical, dental, vision, retirement, and other benefits.
