Description
Abnormal is hiring a Software Engineer to build identity verification and fraud-detection systems for its AI-native security product. The role develops correlation engines, high-availability data pipelines, automated guardrails, and real-time risk-flagging systems; prototypes and tests fraud-detection assumptions; and collaborates with security, platform, and data teams. It requires at least two years of software-application experience, production experience with large-scale data-intensive systems, strong debugging and problem-solving skills, and a BS in computer science, software engineering, information systems, or a related field. Experience with Go, Python, fraud detection, cybersecurity, big data, statistics, and machine learning is preferred. The base salary range is $149,200–$214,500 USD, with possible bonus, incentive, equity, and benefits.
