The Software Engineer II - Java (Azure Serverless Focus) will design, develop, deploy, and maintain a scalable Java middleware application on Azure, integrating internal systems with a SaaS application through Azure Functions and other Azure services. The role focuses on RESTful APIs, secure HTTP client interactions, authentication, error handling, logging, monitoring, and distributed-system reliability. It is a 12+-month contract in Buffalo, New York, with a hybrid schedule of three onsite days and two remote days, paying $64-$74 per hour on W2. Candidates must have strong Java, Spring Boot, Azure, serverless, and DevOps experience, along with the specified education and experience requirements.
