Mastercard is hiring a Software Engineer II (Mainframe Developer) to analyze and develop high-performance software for Core Payments teams. The role requires hands-on experience with COBOL, DB2, CICS, JCL, PROC, Microfocus COBOL, TWS Scheduler, and DB2 LUW, along with batch and online development, CI/CD, Agile project lifecycle, payment-industry knowledge, and coordination across teams and vendors. The engineer will also lead technical solutions, automation, defect-metrics, quality initiatives, and project deliverables.
