Description
Microsoft is hiring a Software Engineer II for its Windows 365 and Azure Virtual Desktop organization. The role contributes to rapid, iterative releases and spans infrastructure, reliability engineering, operations, security, automation, APIs, and live-service operations. Responsibilities include building secure distributed infrastructure, enforcing cloud security and identity standards, developing automation frameworks, establishing DevOps processes, participating in on-call and site reliability rotations, and driving engineering excellence. The position requires a bachelor's degree in a technical field and at least two years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, or equivalent experience.
