Google is hiring a Software Engineer for its AI and Infrastructure team to develop product and system code, collaborate on design and code reviews, debug and resolve issues affecting hardware, networks, or services, and implement solutions in specialized machine learning areas. The role requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, at least two years of Python or C++ programming experience, and one year of experience with speech/audio, reinforcement learning, ML infrastructure, or another machine learning field, including ML infrastructure experience. Preferred qualifications include a master’s or PhD in computer science or a related technical field, data structures and algorithms experience, and accessible technology development experience. The position offers a US salary of $147,000–$210,000 plus a 15% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
