Description
Proofpoint is hiring an Agentic AI Engineer to build reference applications, evaluation harnesses, and reusable platform capabilities for its agentic AI platform. The role focuses on agent runtimes, MCP integration, prompt and context management, memory and planning, deployment, monitoring, and evaluation of nondeterministic systems. The engineer will partner with product and security teams, socialize agentic patterns, and help product teams adopt reliable agent designs. The position requires a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related field, at least three years of engineering experience with recent hands-on work on LLM or agentic systems, strong Python skills, and experience with distributed cloud services.
