Jack Henry is hiring a full-time, fully remote Software Engineer - C#/.NET Backend Developer for its Payment Processing team. The role designs, develops, and supports cloud-native backend services, APIs, event-driven applications, and large-scale batch processing systems for payment transactions. Responsibilities include AWS cloud development, payment integrations, architecture modernization, code reviews, mentoring, production support, and on-call participation. The position requires a bachelor's degree in a technical field, four years of software development experience, and experience with C#/.NET, RESTful APIs, batch processing, event-driven architectures, AWS, payment systems, and relational databases. Microsoft Orleans, microservices, Terraform, observability, CI/CD, security, and high-availability systems are preferred. The role may be worked remotely within the United States except California and is ineligible for immigration sponsorship.
