Description
The Software Engineer III leads the design and delivery of Mastercam's customer-facing WordPress ecommerce environment, including custom plugin and theme development, payment processing, purchase and fulfillment workflows, API integrations, and cloud deployments. The role also maintains the codebase, conducts code reviews, mentors less experienced engineers, documents architecture, and provides technical direction. Candidates need a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, 6–9 years of web application development, 3+ years of ecommerce experience, extensive WordPress development experience, API and relational data modeling experience, cloud deployment experience, and familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React.
