Google is hiring a Software Engineer, Thermal Management for its Platforms and Devices team in Poland. The role designs and implements thermal-management software across the bootloader, Linux kernel, and Android HAL; integrates and debugs thermal software during device bring-up; develops Python and Shell automation for thermal stress testing; performs root-cause analysis; and develops metrics for thermal performance. The position requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, two years of software development experience in C or C++, and two years of embedded operating-system experience. Preferred qualifications include a master’s or PhD in computer science or a related field, data structures and algorithms experience, and accessible-technology development experience. Compensation is PLN 280,000–287,000 plus a 15% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
