Description

Deloitte is hiring a Software Engineer III, Full-Stack Developer with Anthropic Experience for its AI & Engineering team. The role designs, builds, and delivers full-stack software and AI-enabled solutions for client engagements, including RESTful and asynchronous APIs, cloud-native infrastructure, containerized workloads, CI/CD, and production agentic workflows using Anthropic Claude models. The position requires extensive full-stack and AI/ML experience, client-facing development, cloud and API experience, and the ability to travel approximately 50%. Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, or another technical field, or equivalent professional experience
Required Previous Experiences: 6+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 3+ years of full system lifecycle development from requirements through production deployment
4+ years of experience designing, developing, and delivering AI/ML solutions
At least 1 year of direct experience designing or implementing production agentic workflows
At least 1 year of hands-on experience developing agentic AI solutions using Claude Agent SDK
At least 1 year of hands-on experience developing and deploying production solutions using Anthropic Claude models
At least 1 year of experience applying prompt engineering, context engineering, structured outputs, and related techniques
1+ years of experience leading project workstreams or engagements and delivering measurable AI solutions
4+ years of hands-on full-stack development experience using a back-end language and a modern front-end framework
4+ years of client-facing development experience, including 2+ years building and consuming REST or GraphQL APIs
Experience with a major cloud platform and 1 year of hands-on experience integrating Anthropic Claude APIs in a commercial setting
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment using Jira or Linear
Contributions to open-source projects or a software development portfolio
Industry-recognized cloud certifications
Experience using Claude Cowork for enterprise workflows, automation, research, or knowledge work
Hands-on experience using Claude through Azure AI Foundry, Amazon Bedrock, Google Vertex AI, or the native Anthropic API
